Dear Community,
Dear Community, Partners, and Families,
It is with deep gratitude and purpose that I welcome you to our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program. Opening this STRTP in Riverside has been more than the launch of a new organization. It has been the fulfillment of a vision rooted in faith, love, hope, compassion, dignity, and the unwavering belief that every young person deserves a safe place to heal.
Our home was created for female youth and youth assigned male at birth who identify as female, ages 12 through 17, who deserve not only safety, but affirmation, respect, and the opportunity to grow into their fullest selves. Too often, young people navigating trauma, identity exploration, and system involvement encounter environments that do not fully see them. We built this program to change that. From the beginning, our mission has been simple: to create a trauma-informed, gender-affirming space where healing is possible and hope is restored.
Every part of our program, from therapeutic services to our recreational activities, from our staff training to the way we design our daily routines, reflects this commitment. We believe in meeting youth where they are, honoring their stories, and empowering them to take the next steps in their journeys with confidence and support.
As a new STRTP, we are proud to bring fresh energy, intentionality, and heart into this work. We have built our foundation on evidence-based practices, strong community partnerships, and a culture of empathy. But most importantly, we have built it on listening to youth, to families, to professionals, and to the community we serve.
Our promise is simple: We will show up with integrity. We will lead with love and compassion. And we will always put the well-being of our youth at the center of every decision we make.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our program. Whether you are a family seeking support, a professional exploring placement options, or a community member wanting to understand our mission, we are honored to walk alongside you.
With respect and commitment,
Delois Escott, Founder / CEO
